Colorful Goth Outfit

Today’s outfit features two of the items I scored at the car show mentioned in my last post. A giant magenta hair flower, and a fabulous pair of silver-tone rose earrings. I also recently came across this really bright pink scarf, which I thought would be complimentary to my long magenta skirt.

The scarf is a bit long for my taste, but I really love how the different shades of pink worked together. I dug out some old seed bead bracelets from Forever 21 that matched for today’s matchy pink look as well.

Bright Goth Outfit

The sweater is from New York & Co, and goes perfectly with the flower theme of this outfit. I wanted to get one more wearing of it in before our random chilly days end…  I’m going to pack this one away now, and have faith that spring will really be here soon!

I couldn’t get a perfectly-sharp photo of the earrings, but you can see the delicate filigree and the rhinestone in the center! I totally love these earrings.

Fantabulous coord! The scarf is the icing on the cake, for sure. The colors are all similar shades…but not too off to make it look strange. Very, very nice.

Magenta is a wonderful color, I love how rich it is in almost every shades. I adore your skirt and giant hair flower! The earrings are beutiful as well, only a bit too big for my taste. ^^

  3. That is truly a gorgeous skirt. You've done a fantastic job putting this outfit together, and all keeping with the April theme, no less!If I were to make that skirt for myself I would want it in charcoal grey at the waist blending into dove grey at the hem, with black, embroidered flowers edging it all around. And I would want to embellish the flowers with faceted jet beads. *sigh* A girl can dream, can't she?

  4. Maeam, thank you! I was afraid Goth people wouldn't appreciate this much hot pink. ;) But I enjoyed wearing it!Lynoire, I'm just getting used to big earrings again myself; I have a love/hate relationship with them. I've worn surgical steel hoops for several years, never taking them out. I finally started to crave variety again, so I've been collecting a few new pairs. Most days, I now stick with a set of sterling silver studs or a set of black rhinestone studs (you'll be seeing those soon!).heatherphillips, ah yes! More flowers for April. Thanks for sharing the vision of your perfect skirt – it would be so elegant!! That gradient-colored fabric was kinda popular for a little while, then it just disappeared. I wonder if they still sell it in fabric stores?Le Professeur, you are too sweet! :)

Those earrings are gorgeous! VERY nice grabs at the car show. That magenta is really, really pretty on you. You can certainly carry a deep color like that very well. You look so pretty and romantic.

  6. That is a lovely outfit! The magenta and pink is very eye catching. And that hair flower is AMAZING! It makes me want to find some really enormous ones in a paler pink.

  7. Hmmmmm…! The more I looked at this, the more I loved it, even with the magenta, but there was still something that was a little strange [to me]. I think it's the stockings [?], all… five inches we can see of them over your foot, haha. I dunno why just the little thing~! The scarf and skirt are fabulous. Those ear rings are top notch as well; what a find indeed!

  8. Very pretty and romantic look. Funny that "romantic" came from a car show. What I REALLY like about this look though is your nail polish! That is a gorgeous color and your nail shape is beautiful. :D

Oooh, I love the skirt. LOVE IT! Where is it from? I must know…for SCIENCE! Ok, ok, because I would totally buy one. In sixteen colors. But I adore the pink-magenta is such a great color, and you really rock it in the most romantic fashion here. And the earrings are great-it's only when I see very classy, romantic earrings like that that I wish I had my ears pierced.
