November’s assignment appeals to my belief in the importance of self-confidence: Strip down to your bare naked FACE! I love this idea because it’s a great chance to show that we don’t wear makeup because we think we “need” to, but because we WANT to. Let’s show that we are confident women who are not afraid to display our natural beauty. And yes, you DO have natural beauty! Humans are beautiful creatures, one and all: even those of us who like to be creative with our appearance.
A while back I posted my Skin Care Routine. I included a couple of face shots but didn’t think to photograph the post-routine clean skin results. I now present to you VictorianKitty in her natural form! This is after my morning routine but before starting the makeup process.
Yes, my hair is also untamed and straight out of my sleep cap in these photos, hence the random bumps. I did brush it, anyway.

Picture 1, smug with a chance of sunshine; Picture 2, dominatrix librarian. Go glasses! Lovely all.
Natural beauty… You're looking great make up or no make up!!
AHHHHH, YOU'RE NAKED! Oh, wait, it's not that bad.
It's strange how differently beautiful one looks without a made up face. You still look beautiful without the makeup, but you don't look like the same person we're used to seeing in many ways. I sometimes don't wear makeup to work because the "look" I'm going for that day doesn't need any. "it's a great chance to show that we don't wear makeup because we think we "need" to, but because we WANT to"Here here! (or is it "hear hear!)?
Yes, Unlacing the Victorians expressed it perfectly. It is amazing how differently beautiful you, and everyone participating, looks with and without makeup.I am also amazed what a difference your glasses make!
To me, "VictorianKitty in her natural form" is one of the most beautyful persons I've ever seen.
Darling, you are gorgeous! Simply divine. You take awesome care of your skin and it shows! Thank you so much for participating … and for your wonderful words about everyone having natural beauty! HUZZAH!
Wow, you still look so gorgeous and flawless. Color me jealous! You just have one of those faces that radiates composure, elegance, and grace-with or without makeup.
Very pretty! This assigment wouldn't be anything special to me because I almost never use any make up at all. XD If you never pick up the habit of using it, the bare face looks is normal to you!
Beautiful.
Wow, you look so amazingly with your naked face, there's something…well, graceful in it, but I don't know how to explain it…:) Anyway, you look beautiful and your eyes look even more gorgeous like this. ^^
(lolz, perfect thread for a pretty Leo)
High Arka, lol! I love glasses. Especially when I'm not wearing makeup. They make me feel less "exposed."
Kamyria, thank you!Le Professeur, I'm glad you presented us with this homework assignment! It's been very nice seeing everyone in their natural beauty.Unlacing, rofl! And you are so right – for all of the participants in this assignment, both ways are beautiful but in very different ways. And I believe it's "Hear, Hear!"
Sabayon, it is funny how different glasses make a person look. That's why I thought it would be interesting to compare.Sal, that's just about the nicest comment I've ever gotten. Thank you so much!Jamie, thank you! You made my day with that one. Another of the nicest comments ever!!Lulu, thanks!
Ah, you are smart to keep it simple like that. The bad thing about wearing makeup is then when you don't feel like it, everyone makes a big deal about it!
siouxsie, thanks!Lynoire, that is very sweet of you to say. Thank you!
Oh, gosh, you look GREAT with glasses on! Really!
So pretty! You have fabulous skin and eyebrows. (Hope it is not weird to compliment eyebrows, I used to shave mine off and now that I am growing them out I am a tad obsessed.)
I love your face with and without make up, women are blessed to be beautiful with and without make up.
Your eyebrows are naturally that perfect?!
Ashlee, well, those are my eyebrows without makeup, but they are far from natural – they are *heavily* plucked and trimmed.
I do daily maintenance on them with tweezers and a tiny pair of cuticle scissors to keep the shape perfect. I'm fairly obsessed with perfect eyebrows. ;-D
